The
Etex Group

Superglass. Part of the Global Etex Group.

We’ve been at the forefront of insulation manufacturing since 1952, and Superglass was formed in 1987 when production was switched to glass fibre insulation.

Following a management buy-out in 2005 we became the UK’s leading independent manufacturer of glass wool insulation, and in June 2023 we were acquired by the global Etex Group, whose goal is to enhance the world with ever better living spaces.

Etex is a global building materials manufacturer and pioneer in lightweight construction, and aims to inspire people around the world to build living spaces that are ever more safe, sustainable, smart and beautiful.
